Hello, I'm Preet
I'm an experienced, qualified Psychotherapist offering a warm, inclusive space for people ready to explore challenges that may be impacting their wellbeing and what's getting in the way of feeling fully themselves.
I specialise in trauma and PTSD, and work with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood, stress, body image & self-esteem.
Over the years I've developed my skills working in a variety of settings — including the NHS and Ministry of Defence, supporting both serving personnel and veterans.
My approach is integrative, drawing on CBT and EMDR. I tailor therapy to you — balancing compassionate listening with gentle challenge — so we can make sense of patterns, overcome difficulties, build resilience and work towards meaningful change.
I offer sessions online.

My Approach
Like wildflowers, I believe in the inherent strength within each person to grow and bloom, even in challenging conditions.
Integrative
Tailored to You
Every person is unique. We can draw on whichever approaches are most helpful for you in your journey. This will be tailored to your individual needs, experiences and goals for therapy.
CBT
Cognitive & Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical approach. Drawing on CBT, we work together to understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and physical sensations. Together, we explore patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing, contributing to distress or keeping you stuck — and begin to gently challenge ways of thinking or coping that no longer serve you.
Our early and past experiences shape the way we see ourselves, others and the world around us. We also make space to understand how these past experiences impact you in the present and may have shaped current patterns.
CBT focuses on developing practical tools and strategies to improve your emotional wellbeing and create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is grounded in CBT and integrates elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy designed to help people process and recover from distressing or traumatic experiences. Difficult experiences can sometimes become "stuck" in the nervous system, causing ongoing symptoms such as flashbacks, nightmares, intrusive memories, anxiety, panic, low mood, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed.
Through EMDR we can help the brain reprocess these experiences in a safe and structured way.
While recalling the distressing or traumatic event, we would use bilateral stimulation such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds. These side-to-side sensations aid the brain's natural abilities to process and organise information.
This reduces the vividness, emotional intensity and distress of difficult memories, helps find new perspectives, and develop a greater sense of calm, safety and understanding.
EMDR is commonly used for trauma and PTSD, but can also help with the lasting impact of other stressful life experiences, anxiety, depression, fears and phobias.
